Flutter Bowls

These flutter bowls are an attempt to simply let a slab of clay take the form it wishes to over a mould, as I draped it over and let it fall the way it wanted to. A marriage between handwork and gravity, these pieces are meant to play with fluidity in clay, and visually capture the brightness and cheer of working with the medium through the finish.
