Nerikomi Tumbler Set

This drinkware set was commissioned as a wedding gift for a newly wed couple, to add a touch of handmade charm to their inevitable hosting. 

These forms are wheel thrown with red stained clay, lemon yellow stained clay and white stoneware clay. The two bright colours swirl with the white to form a playful interpretation of two lives merging together against a plain canvas of white, to create a joyous charming effect. The rim is half painted with yellow underglaze for a bright finish.
